Raced: 1990s
Right from when he trialled pre-season at Doomben he was rated a future star and first race start proved that when he came from well back to win an Eagle Farm two-year-old by nine lengths. He then won the now Tommy Smith Slipper at Doomben, the Gold Coast Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Classic and the GCTC Ken Russell Classic. His regular rider Chris Munce was injured in an early race on Magic Millions day and Neil Williams took the winning ride. Later in his career Brave Warrior won the Peter Pan Stakes, Gloaming Stakes and Phar lap Stakes, all at Rosehill, but was very unlucky in Group 1 races. However, he did run second in the 1995 QTC Derby, George Main Stakes and 1994 Spring Champion Stakes. Brave Warrior looked like being a sensation at stud but died in an accident after serving only two seasons.
