He could have easily gone on to be one of the best stayers seen in Queensland. Chill Factor had hit his straps in winning the QTC Easter Cup and GCTC Prime Minister’s Cup. Chill Factor then ran a great second in the O’Shea Stakes and was ruling favourite for the 1990 Brisbane Cup when he died on the morning of the race. His jockey Les Harris had a huge opinion of him.
