Colin O'Neill and his wife Pam rode winners at the Rockhampton meeting in October 1973.

Ben Saunders and his sister Nerida Saunders quinellaed a race at Eagle Farm on July 14, 1982. Ben rode the winner Cherry Maree while Nerida was on runner up Scrappy Sal.

Maureen Dittman trained and her husband Mick rode All Ashore to win the 1990 Goldmarket Handicap at the Gold Coast.

Colin O'Neill trained and his wife Pam rode Samei Boy to win the 1979 Booroolong Handicap at Doomben. The pair also combined to win the Rockhampton Cup.

Jockey Mark Wood and his sons Mitchell and Justin all rode in the one race on several occasions at south east Queensland country tracks in 2009.

Mount Isa trainer Denise Ballard trained all five winners at Boulia on April 3, 2010 including the coveted Boulia Cup with St Louis Blue. Denise's husband Keith rode the Cup winner making it his ninth victory in the race. It was truly a family affair with Keith riding a double on the day and their son Dan riding a treble.

The Mount Isa Cup has had a few husband and wife teams win. In 1973 jockey Ray Turgeon rode Gentleman Jim to win for wife/trainer Vera. In 1985, Ulandra won for jockey Russell Pujolas and his wife and trainer Coral.
