Ivan Wernowski holds the record for an apprentice on a Queensland metropolitan track with five wins at Doomben on April 23, 1977. He won on Planet Beauty, Ros le Glen, Hush Star, Sovereign Secret and Sandcrew. The wins were in consecutive races and the last four were for trainer Ray Croxford. Colin O'Neill trained Planet Beauty.
